Ashley and Richard engagement photos

Yesterday, Richard and I went to Morganfield (about an hour from Madisonville) to get our engagement photos taken. We had a good time...and I say we because the photographer had him laughing the whole time and he seemed to truly enjoy the session. We ended up with 151 shots to choose from and the photographer (Greg Yager) is supposed to be editing and posting some of our pictures on his site tonight. He is known to be a procrastinator, so it may be a few more days which is perfectly fine. I'm just glad I got to see all the pictures before we even left the studio and I got to bring a CD of all the images home to share with everybody. Because of this...I figured I'd post some on the family site in the meantime of him getting them posted at

Anyway, here are some of the pictures I like best:

I like the fact that you can read my shirt in this one and that he was no longer choking me at this point.


I think this is a really cool picture and I’m sure when our photographer edits it, I’ll like it even better. Knowing him, there will be some cool lighting effects coming out of the background.


The next two are just kinda typical cutesy shots but in our nice casual outfits.




This one reminds me of a black and white photo we had taken on our Alaskan cruise that I absolutely loved. Before we had these yesterday, it was my favorite picture of the two of us.


These next three are possibilities for our engagement announcement.






This was just nice with the old buildings of downtown Morganfield in the background.


I like this next one so much that I put it on a Wal-mart gift card today at work to wear with my name tag.

It looks like you two were really having a good time and were really getting into it, which is definitely what makes for a good photo session.

Also, you look great and I love your hair in these shots.

hehe. I've got a bunch of pic sets I need to get on the forum. I've been hand picking a few good ones here and there for the blog, but I really need to take the time to put the full sets up here.

Yup, like the ones that go along with planting flowers...and eating dirt. I'm waiting to see more of those.
